Help with broken links

You report a broken link using the Feedback form to the left of your search results. These are the recommended steps:

1. Copy the resource title from the search result list.
2. Paste the 'resource title' into the text box and add a message such as 'This is a broken link'.

What happens next?

A Tale support officer will advise you of the status of the resource link and if possible either provide an alternate link to the resource or suggest another resource. Then:

• If the broken link is to a DET resource, it will be referred to the responsible resource publisher for amendment or withdrawal.
• If the broken link is to a non-DET resource such as a web site, it will be referred to the CLI metadata team for action.

At times you may receive a blank screen or a Timed out notice when trying to view a website or resource. This can occur if the file you are opening is quite large or network traffic is heavier than normal. This problem may be overcome if you close the blank window and try opening the resource again. If you continue to have problems please use the Feedback form to report the problem.
