Selection policy for Search

TaLe search provides access to Internet sites, organised by age group and subject area, to support independent student learning. TaLe aims to provide a selection of high-quality resources for the parents and carers of NSW DET students that are:

  • reliable
  • authoritative
  • current
  • supportive of their children's learning.

Each school develops its own homework policy after consultation with parents/carers and teachers. Your child's teacher has information about the school's policy.

Web sites are selected for inclusion in Homework help where they met these criteria:

  • have specific relevance to NSW school curriculum
  • cater for independent learning
  • are published by NSW Government, Australian Government or other authoritative sources
  • have been evaluated and/or recommended by NSW DET and TAFE staff
  • are available for use without charge and free of other commercial impositions
  • use readily available technology formats.

TaLe has no control of the condition or the content of selected Internet sites. You access those sites and use their products and services solely at your own risk. Please contact TaLe if you have problems accessing any of these resources.
